Mr B Bryant

Mr Bryant joined Bishop Young Academy in February 2023, in partnership with the Leeds United Foundation. He works with all our students to raise aspirations and support them to have good attendance at school. Some of the responsibilities he has include:

• Making sure the students in his cohort are aware of the rules, expectations and vision of the academy - which is to provide an environment which is welcoming, caring, calm, disciplined and purposeful and which will stretch our young people academically, support them pastorally and help them develop socially and spiritually.
• Making sure students are on time every day and to lessons
• Checking on attendance and punctuality
• Always having an open door and a listening ear for any worries, concerns, or thoughts/feelings that you may need to speak about.

Working with Leeds United Foundation, it's no surprise that Mr Bryant is passionate about watching and playing football, but did you know that previously he has played semi-professionally! He loves all sport and being part of a team, something which he enjoys about his role at Bishop Young, especially enabling people from different backgrounds to work together.
