Following the launch of Construction as an option subject for our pupils to take in Year 10, the department is working in partnership with Caddick Construction based across Yorkshire.
This new partnership will support pupils to understand the industry as well as direct access to careers information and experiences. Mr Gardham Trust Lead for DT said ‘’The partnership with Caddick will really help pupils to get a true insight into the industry which will support them with their coursework and exam.’’
Further visits and activities are planned for the next 2 years which will allow pupils see the current building site develop from the ground upwards to a completed project.
