Staff were delighted to welcome students and their families as they opened their results, reflecting on the commitment, determination and resilience that had led to this important milestone.
Principal, Ms R Lacey-Cole, said: "We are incredibly proud of another improvement in our GCSE results. Our students have once again excelled themselves, demonstrating the hard work, resilience and commitment they have shown throughout the year. We are equally grateful to our fantastic teachers and staff, whose dedication and unwavering support have helped our students achieve their very best. A huge congratulations to all our students!"
Students were understandably thrilled with their results and keen to share what they were most proud of.
Godwin said: "I feel great. I'm so happy with my results!"
Maria reflected on her journey and added: "I'm most proud of the fact I never gave up."
The celebrations throughout the morning were a testament to the determination shown by the Class of 2026. Their achievements. Everyone at Bishop Young would like to congratulate our students on their accomplishments and wish them every success as they move on to the next stage of their education, training or careers.
